The Annie McCall Heritage Project

The project was an inter-generational community educational pilot programme based at the former Annie McCall Maternity Hospital, now Stockwell Studios. The programme consisted of workshops, exhibitions events and outings, two artists placements at local schools and web site development. Project started March 2004 and completion date was 31st August 2004. The project programme was managed by Stockwell Studios Arts Development Officer Trevor Flynn.

The Annie McCall Heritage Project was funded the European Regional Development Fund and Lambeth Arts.

A crucial component of the project was to reinforce existing links and establish new partnerships within our local community through the provision of arts initiatives, the pilot project indicated a gap in the provision of arts led initiatives and highlighted the educational resource Stockwell Studios can provide in Lambeth.
