Open Education Days at Stockwell Studios

Stockwell Studios hold Open Studios twice a year and devote two days to local schools and communities who are invited to tour the building and meet the artists. The Summer 2004 Open Education Days will draw over 200 visitors from 3 local schools and one group of elderly residents. Many of the local children will never have seen artists or art prior to their visit. The older children from Stockwell Park High School will visit the studios as part of the Annie McCall Heritage Project which will be supplemented with career talks and visits to Central St. Martins University of Art and Design to encourage students to pursue their interest in the arts.
