Mosaic Project with Allen Edwards school and the local community

Art4Space began their three-day project at Allen Edwards School, teaching year 6 pupils how to design and make mosaic pots. These half-finished pots were brought to Stockwell Studios and finished in a community drop-in mosaic workshop. Some of the pupils came with their parents, and members of the local community joined the group.

Forty people participated in the project over the course of three days. This initiative has brought families and generations together, has helped strengthen our partnership with Allen Edwards School and has raised awareness of Stockwell Studios in the community. The mosaic pots have been donated to Allen Edwards School.
