Painting Classes and Outings for the Elderly

Stockwell Studios artist May Anderson has worked with a group of Over 50s painting students for over 3 years and wil exhibit their work in her studio as part of Stockwell Open Studios.

The 9 sessions they held this year as part of the Annie McCall Heritage Project included outings for the group to see and explore some other areas of interest and stimulation. This included a visit to the British Museum to meet the artist Susie Freeman whose collaborative work Cradle To Grave is in the new Wellcome Wing of the museum, and an outing to Roots and Shoots wildlife centre.
